WA Punjabi Club Inc. (“the club”, “we”) respects your privacy. This notice explains how this website handles personal information, guided by the Australian Privacy Principles.
This website doesn’t collect your details
There are no forms, sign-ups or accounts on this website, and we don’t use advertising or analytics trackers. When you choose to contact us, you do it through your own email app or WhatsApp.
When you email or message us
If you email wapunjabiclub@gmail.com or message us on WhatsApp (for example to play, perform or volunteer at the Australian Sikh Games), we use what you send only to reply, organise teams and events, and keep participants safe. If a sport or competition needs your details (for example the Australian Sikh Games organisers), we’ll tell you before we share them. Please don’t send health or other sensitive details unless a coordinator asks for them.
Maps and links to other sites
Some pages show an embedded Google Map, and we link to Facebook, WhatsApp and the official Games website. Those services have their own privacy policies and may set cookies when you use them.
Photos
We only publish identifiable photos of children with a parent or guardian’s consent. If you’d like a photo of you or your child removed, email us and we’ll take it down promptly.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold from your messages, ask us to correct or delete it, or make a privacy complaint by emailing wapunjabiclub@gmail.com. If you aren’t satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
