About us

ਸਾਡੇ ਬਾਰੇ

A non-profit community club celebrating the rich heritage of Punjab in Western Australia, and bringing everyone along for the ride.

Our mission

“To provide an inclusive, supportive environment that encourages a healthy, active, and social lifestyle.”

Our vision

To be a leading community organisation that celebrates and sustains the rich heritage of Punjab in Western Australia, uniting the Punjabi diaspora and the wider local community.

We run social sporting events alongside competitive junior and senior teams, open to all ages, genders and abilities, in a safe environment where cooperation, athletic ability, sportsmanship, dedication and confidence can grow.

Punjabi heritage

Five rivers. One community.

Punjab means “land of five rivers”: the Jhelum, Chenab, Ravi, Sutlej and Beas, tributaries of the Indus. Its people carried a culture of hard work, hospitality, music and sport around the world.

In Western Australia, WA Punjabi Club keeps that culture alive. Bhangra and giddha, melas and taash, kabaddi and cricket are shared with neighbours of every background, because a club of the people is open to all people.

Serve & Play Together.
